Biju leads our Technical Project & Program Management service line as well as the Access Management & Information Protection service line at Orcas Consulting.
Biju has over ten years of experience in project management, systems implementation, business process modeling/mapping, IT strategy and process improvement, SDLC reviews, audit readiness and attestation, and conducting client security assessments. Over the past 4 years Biju has worked exclusively on cloud technology clients helping implement identity management and GRC solutions. Biju’s experience includes managing projects in excess of twenty million dollars, managing global virtual teams, and presenting to executive audiences.
Jeremy Palenchar
Partner
Jeremy is Orcas’ Chief Technology Officer with responsibility for technical strategy and solution development. He is also responsible for Orcas’ Hybrid Cloud Identity and Federated Identity practices which have a strong focus on implementing solutions for Fortune 500 companies.
As a consultant, Jeremy is responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of Directory Service and Identity Management solutions for Fortune 500 clients. He is a Microsoft Certified Architect in Directory Services, holds a CISSP certification, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University. Jeremy has spent over ten years in the professional services field and four years in the financial services industry. He has worked for companies such as Avanade, Washington Mutual, and IBM. Jeremy lives and works in sunny, downtown Seattle
Andy Shell
Partner
Andy is a Partner at Orcas Consulting where is responsible for sales and business development. He has over 15 years of consulting experience with companies such as KPMG and BearingPoint in large-scale system and security implementations.
Previously, Andy was a Managing Director for a security consultancy and responsible for P&L activities in the Pacific Northwest. Andy was a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve where was the Director, U.S. Army Cyber Threat Analysis Center, U.S. Army Computer Emergency Response Team (ACERT) and Operations Officer, Regional Computer Emergency Response Team (RCERT) in Southwest Asia.
Paul Smith

Paul’s primary role as a partner at Orcas is managing the Directory Services offering as well leading technical services delivery.
Paul’s background and expertise lies in Directory and Identity Management with an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies and systems. Paul is a certified MCITP Enterprise Administrator and has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry filling various roles such as a single contributor, senior consultant and team leader for varying industries. Prior to joining Orcas, Paul was Vice President at Washington Mutual leading a group of world class engineers and developers for Directory Services and Identity Management team.
